COUPLES

ministry

The Couples Ministry is designed to meet the needs of growing families in a variety of ways.

While providing a sense of community, the Couples Ministry provides a place of acceptance and belonging as we grow together as members of the body of Christ.  Our goal is to strengthen families by building relationships in couples and families that reflect Christ through solid Biblical teaching and reliable, Biblically based resources.  As we seek to strengthen our homes, we desire to be a testimony to our neighbors around us and advance the kingdom of Christ in our world.

We meet on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the third building of MBBC/FCS.  During this time, we study God’s Word, share in each other’s celebrations, and lift up each other’s burdens in prayer.

Various family oriented topical studies and Bible studies are offered during this time.  Some studies that we have previously offered include:  Biblical Family Concepts, Bible book series studies, Loving and Respecting Your Spouse, Having a Fireproof Marriage, How to Shepherd a Child’s Heart, The Foundations of Discipline in the Home, and Effective Parenting in a Defective World.

We offer fun couples and family fellowships, opportunities to attend marriage conferences, and events to enrich your family’s life through service in the community.  It is our aim that this ministry allows you to build lasting, meaningful relationships with others and surround your family with Christian families of like values and support.
